Digital Vault Mobile and Desktop Apps


How to install our apps:


Installing Digital Vault on iOS

Because our apps are reference apps, and not live in the store, the iPhone may prompt you that you need to "Trust" our app as a developer. To do so navigate to:

Settings > General > Device Management > Trust Hyperlync Technologies

Please follow these instructions:

  1. Download the iOS app on your iPhone.
  2. After installing, when you first tap the icon of the app you will see the following popup with the text:
    Untrusted Enterprise Developer "iPhone Distribution: Hyperlync Technologies Ltd" has not been trusted on this iPhone. Until this developer has been trusted, their enterprise apps will not be available for use.
  3. Tap the cancel button on the popup
  4. From the iPhone home screen tap the settings icon
  5. In the main Settings menu tap the General setting option
  6. From the General settings menu, tap the Device Management’ settings option.
  7. From the Profile settings menu, select "Hyperlync Technologies Ltd" to open the Hyperlync Technologies Ltd profile page.
  8. On this page the text will say:
    Apps from developer "iPhone Distribution: Hyperlync Technologies Ltd" are not trusted on this iPhone and will not run until the developer is trusted.
  9. Tap on the link that says: Trust "Hyperlync Technologies Ltd"
  10. A confirmation popup will appear that says:
    Trust "iPhone Distribution: Hyperlync Technologies Ltd" Apps on This iPhone
    Trusting will allow any app from this enterprise developer to be used on your iPhone and may allow access to your data.
  11. Tap the red Trust button on the popup.
  12. You can now return to your iPhone home screen and run the app.

Installing Digital Vault on Android

Because our apps are reference apps, and not live in the Play Store, the Android phone may prompt you that you need to allow the installation of non-playstore apps. To do so, follow these instructions:
  1. Download the APK on your Android phone
  2. Once downloaded, tap on the APK and proceed through the installation process
  3. Make sure your Android device is set to allow the installation of non-Play Store applications. This is done by allowing the installation of apps from "Unknown Sources" in the Android Settings/Security Settings.
  4. Some devices may prompt you to change the "Unknown Sources" settings from Chrome Browser:
  5. Once the settings are enabled, proceed with the installation of the app and launch the app to begin using it

Installing Digital Vault on Mac

Because our apps are reference apps, and not live in the App Store, the Mac may prompt you with a message that the .pkg can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

In order to install the app, please follow these steps:
  1. Open the system preferences.
  2. Navigate to Security & Privacy
  3. Under the General tab, click Open Anyway by the message stating the .pkg was blocked.
  4. Follow the instructions in the installer.
